Enhancement of Women is a need of an hour for achieving sustainable development. Women’s empowerment, include women’s power to make decisions and inculcate the awareness to use their rights, access to and control over resources, their own bodies and their destiny. It also calls for the full participation of women and equal opportunities for leadership at all levels of decision-making. Technical progress alone cannot lead to economic development, unless technological breakthroughs are put to economic use by entrepreneurs.
